Our Mission

At Able Solutions, our mission is simple yet impactful: we create accessible, inclusive spaces for all individuals through universal design, ensuring everyone has a seat at the table. Our innovative picnic tables are designed with people of all abilities in mind, offering functionality, comfort, and accessibility beyond the standard table.

Debbie Williams

Early in her career, Debbie worked with children with multiple handicaps for over a dozen years and saw firsthand the need for modifications to everyday items to ensure accessibility for all.  She has since held several jobs in education and public service and is excited to come full circle in promoting acceptance and inclusion in her work.

She is currently employed by RiseUP for Arts and the Town of East Windsor.  She is the founder and chair of the East Windsor Arts and Culture Committee, which unveiled the first Able Table at the town park in the spring of 2024.

Matt Conway

Matt Conway is the Executive Director of The RiseUP Group, Inc., where he leads efforts to transform public spaces through art and community-driven projects.

His personal connection to accessibility stems from raising a daughter with severe special needs, who spent the last nine years of her life in a wheelchair. Experiencing the challenges of finding accessible seating in public spaces firsthand, Matt's passion for inclusivity inspired the Able Table project, which provides wheelchair-accessible picnic tables designed for everyone to gather comfortably. This initiative reflects Matt’s lifelong mission to create inclusive, welcoming spaces for all.
